Description
Rubric Marines advance at the command of their sorcerous master, laying down withering hails of fire. Arcane shells from their inferno weapons and soulreaper cannons blast the enemy apart, while gouts of mutagenic fire from their warpflamers burn and twist both flesh and soul. Against such an onslaught, none can stand for long.
This multipart plastic kit builds ten Rubric Marines, utterly implacable infantry for your Thousand Sons armies in games of Warhammer 40,000. Led by an Aspiring Sorcerer who directs them in battle as a puppeteer would operate a marionette, they are ideal for clearing enemy-held objectives in a hail of lethal firepower before claiming it for themselves.
The Aspiring Sorcerer in the squad has a choice of two heads, two toppers for his force staff, and the choice of an inferno bolt pistol, warpflame pistol, or an open hand. The other members of the squad can be armed with either an inferno boltgun or warpflamer, one can be built with an optional soulreaper cannon, and another can carry an optional icon of flame. The arms, weapons, and torsos are interchangeable across the miniatures, as are the 10 other heads, 10 backpacks, and 20 shoulder pads, making it easy to customise your unit.
This kit comprises 152 plastic components, and 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
The Deathwatch are a Chapter of Space Marines unlike any other. Promising individual agents are seconded from other Chapters and inducted into the service of the Inquisition’s Ordo Xenos. They are given rare and powerful equipment and weapons, and tasked with taking on the most deadly threats to the Imperium in daring missions, often comprising just a handful of these elite agents. Armageddon is a fertile hunting ground for these xenos specialists, with Kill Teams operating around the planet, lending their experience to fight the Ork invasion.
Daring and Deadly Specialists
This loaded boxed set is ideal for starting a new Imperial Agents or Deathwatch collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in your games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. You'll find enough Space Marines to build either two smaller units of Deathwatch, or one larger unit, and a Corvus Blackstar, an aircraft unique to this Chapter. It's equipped with esoteric technology to mask its shape, and armed with a suite of heavy weapons to support the troops on the ground after they disembark. When taken together, they are a fast and brutal army prepared to take on the horrors of the galaxy.
This boxed set builds 11 multipart plastic Deathwatch miniatures:
– 1 Corvus Blackstar
– 10 Deathwatch Kill Team miniatures
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Corvus Blackstar can be armed with a twin assault cannon or twin lascannon, and Blackstar rocket launchers or stormstrike missile launchers. There’s an optional hurricane bolter, auspex array, and Infernum halo-launcher. The Blackstar also features 3 air brakes, which can be assembled open or closed.
The Deathwatch Kill Team can build:
– 2 Sergeants (which can each alternately be built as Veterans)
– 2 Gravis Veterans, each armed with an Infernus heavy bolter, frag cannon, or hellstorm bolt rifle
– 2 Veterans, each armed with a heavy thunder hammer or power maul and shield
– 2 Veterans, each armed with a stalker bolt rifle or plasma incinerator
– 2 Veterans, each armed with a marksman bolt carbine or combat knife
Each Deathwatch Kill Team miniature has a specific helmeted head, and there are 32 interchangeable bare heads, plus 32 interchangeable Tacticus shoulder pads, 14 interchangeable Gravis shoulder pads, and 12 interchangeable Phobos shoulder pads.
