Designed to offer long-range support, the XV88 Broadside Battlesuit has exceeded expectations, becoming a mainstay of the Hunter Cadres and tank-killers of legendary proportions. Powered by a particle accelerator, a Broadside's heavy rail rifle shot can penetrate the thickest plasteel bunkers.
With robust armouring, manoeuvrability and a stack of weapons within the box, the XV88 Broadside Battlesuit provides the T'au collector with a number of options. The kit brings a fresh twist to the line of T'au battlesuits – they're noticeably denser models with a great presence in a collection of miniatures. Each one features a particle accelerator on the back. The standard weapon is for the long and immensely powerful-looking twin-linked rail rifle, though they can be outfitted with eye-wateringly potent and somewhat fist-like twin-linked high yield missile system pods. If that wasn't enough, then you can also use the twin-linked smart missile – enough to please any T'au weapons connoisseur. The kit comes with a Shield Drone and Missile Drone.
This multi-part plastic kit contains 91 components and a T'au transfer sheet with which to make a Broadside Battlesuit and two Drones.
This kit comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour Paints.
The Deathwatch are a Chapter of Space Marines unlike any other. Promising individual agents are seconded from other Chapters and inducted into the service of the Inquisition’s Ordo Xenos. They are given rare and powerful equipment and weapons, and tasked with taking on the most deadly threats to the Imperium in daring missions, often comprising just a handful of these elite agents. Armageddon is a fertile hunting ground for these xenos specialists, with Kill Teams operating around the planet, lending their experience to fight the Ork invasion.
Daring and Deadly Specialists
This loaded boxed set is ideal for starting a new Imperial Agents or Deathwatch collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in your games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. You'll find enough Space Marines to build either two smaller units of Deathwatch, or one larger unit, and a Corvus Blackstar, an aircraft unique to this Chapter. It's equipped with esoteric technology to mask its shape, and armed with a suite of heavy weapons to support the troops on the ground after they disembark. When taken together, they are a fast and brutal army prepared to take on the horrors of the galaxy.
This boxed set builds 11 multipart plastic Deathwatch miniatures:
– 1 Corvus Blackstar
– 10 Deathwatch Kill Team miniatures
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Corvus Blackstar can be armed with a twin assault cannon or twin lascannon, and Blackstar rocket launchers or stormstrike missile launchers. There’s an optional hurricane bolter, auspex array, and Infernum halo-launcher. The Blackstar also features 3 air brakes, which can be assembled open or closed.
The Deathwatch Kill Team can build:
– 2 Sergeants (which can each alternately be built as Veterans)
– 2 Gravis Veterans, each armed with an Infernus heavy bolter, frag cannon, or hellstorm bolt rifle
– 2 Veterans, each armed with a heavy thunder hammer or power maul and shield
– 2 Veterans, each armed with a stalker bolt rifle or plasma incinerator
